Gamlestovo holiday house

– accomodation with a historic atmosphere

Gamlestovo is an old farmhouse from the early 19th century. The oldest timber in the house is most likely reused, and older than this. When we began the work with restoring the house, we wanted to keep the old atmosphere of the house, while also giving it a 21st century standard.



Gamlestovo is fully restored and well equipped as a holiday home. It is available to rent all year around. The guesthouse is located in the yard. In the yard you will also find places to sit down and relax, a playground for children, a kitchen garden and flower beds. There are many activities and hiking opportunities in the immediate area.

Living room

TV, radio, dining table with seating for 10 persons, sofa lounge, wood stove in addition to electric heating

Kitchen

Electric stove with oven, grill, coffee maker, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine. Fully equipped with crockery, cookware, towel, cloth, soap and more

Bedroom

3 bedrooms. 2 double beds, 7 beds in total + a cot. All beds are equipped with duvets and pillows. There will always be clean linen and sheets provided

Bathroom

Equipped with floor heating, shower, towels, assorted hand and body soaps, hair dryer, toilet, toilet paper

About Gamlestovo

Together with other houses in the yard, Gamlestovo was moved from the center of Øystese to Vetlemyrane in 2005.

The house is an old farmhouse from the early 19th century. When we restored Gamlestovo, we wanted to preserve the old character of the house, while giving it modern facilities and comfort.


On the ground floor there is a large livingroom, a kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a single bed, and the other with two single beds. We also have a bed for babies.



In total there is room for seven people.

Prices

In season:
From 1/5 to 1/10:
NOK 1.100,- per night for up to 2 people, an additional NOK 200 per person per night beyond this.

Out of season:
From 1/10 to 1/5: NOK 900,- per night for up to 2 people. An additional NOK 200,- per person beyond this.

Includes: bed linen and towel, heating, wifi, electricity

Final cleaning NOK 600,- will be added.
